Subject: AC button not sticking.

This may seem to be a strange question but does anybody have an idea how to fix an AC button that doesn't want to stay stuck in so that the AC will actually run? Mine is getting harder and harder to stay switched on. Once it's on, it's on. It never disengages itself but getting it stick in the "On" position usually takes several attempts. I am tempted just to leave it always "On" soon because I know that eventually it won't ever stick in the "On position. BTW, my compressor bearings are going south. Don't know if that has anything to do with it, like a vacuum or something? -- Later, Barry
