I've changed to oil in my 900's from day one, except for the service intervals done at the dealer. I have a low-profile oil tank made of ABS plastic with a large catch funnel. The tank easily slides beneath either classic 900 and allows for access to the drain plug. The tank hold 12 US quarts. Once full, I take it to my local Advance Auto Parts dealer for free oil recylcing. It makes changing oil easy and quick. Don
