I'd have to agree with Johannes, avoid the early traction control systems. My '92 has it and it is a pain in the ass. It kicks in and the car bogs so much that it throws me forward in the seat. You can't easily disarm it, lest you remove the abs also. I think '92s and maybe '93s are afflicted with it. Later years can be turned off more easily, like until the snow flies.
