I just bought a '98 900SE Convertible, and I LOVE it. I've only had it for about a week, but I researched extensively before purchasing. By 1998, Saab had basically gotten all of the little kinks out of the 900 convertible (earlier ones had problems with their tops and clutch cables). Like typical engineers, as soon as they got it right, they got bored and moved on to something new - the 9-3 :-) Seriously though, as the "end of a line", the '98 900 SETC seems to be a solid car. Paying the $3000 or so premium for a '99 9-3 over a '98 900 really isn't worth it (unless you're really hot for a Saab Active Head Restraint system). -AJRitz "Skip" <whiterohXnopsamcomnow.com> wrote in message news:<%hic7.4614$Ke7.287097nopsam0-atl2.usenetserver.com>... > ooops sorry Bryan (not Brian) > Skip <whiterohXnopsamcomnow.com> wrote in message > news:Nfic7.4606$Ke7.287144nopsam0-atl2.usenetserver.com... > > Hi Brian, I cannot say for converts because I haven't owned one, but my > last > > car was a 98 900SET.
