Hey all, Took my '96 900 SE Turbo into Ed Hanson's Muffler out here in San Diego yesterday and had them do a custom cat-back with a DynoMax Race Magnum straight through muffler. Because of the Turbo they recommended the Race Magnum for it's full flow effect when the Turbo spools up...I thought to myself that the $$$$$ system from the Saab dealer would be too much for something that could probably be done better by someone else. The whole setup cost ~$200 and is only 1/2dB louder than the stock setup. I was afraid of the straight through muffler at first because of the chance it might sound like one of those boy-racer bumblebee Japanese cars, but thankfully it still sounds about the same...I haven't had it dyno'd, but the increased output from the cat-back "should" be ~10 more HP's...Now, where is that TD04 I need?...
