Subject: Saab 99GL 1984 vs. Saab 99 1976

Hello Saab enthusiasts, I currently own a Saab 99GL 1984 with a crunched gearbox, estimated service costs of approx. 2,000$. I've been offered a very nice Saab 99 Combi 1976 for 600$, and wonder if I should go for that one (260K mileage, should last a few more years?). The car has new brakes, new clutch and some other new details. My question is: before I deliver the 99GL 1984 for wrecking - what parts should I keep? What parts from the 1984 model can be used as spare parts on the 1976 model? Will the seats or other parts of the interior/exterior fit as well? Best regards Christian Grande 99-Enthusiast
