No not necessarily. In my case I had some occasional cut outs which I couldn't explain. Then the car was OK with no symptoms for a while, only to stop dead on a long journey. I couldn't believe that it was caused by the DI, but this was indeed the cause. My car is also a 1993 9000 CSE, so if you hadn't changed the DI cassette yet, then I would be suspicious. Johannes [...]
