I don't think it would - can you point to any cases where this has actually happened as opposed to just people speculating that maybe it might somehow maybe happen to happen hypothetically? Another reason I wouldn't worry about it, is that when you turn on the car, the wire in the mass sensor is heated up to (very bignum) temperature, specifically to burn any crap off of it, so I don't think it'd be a problem even if the contamination (which I doubt happens) happened.
