I've just bought some Saab roof bars for my New 900, but they appear to be about an inch too wide (when done up as tight as they go). Any ideas why this is? The pegs it in the holes on the car okay (on one side at a time of course!), and there's even a label on one of the bars which says "Saab 900 5D" (mine is a 5 Door). Did they change the widths of new 900s at some stage (mine's a 1997), Also, am I missing some 'feet' which put some weight onto the edge of the roof? - As they are at the moment, all the weight of any load would be taken on those 4 'pegs'.
