www.townsendimports.com Pretty good idea to keep the 40.00 cable as a spare with a spare serpentine belt in the spare tire area. These can strand you. They are pretty easy to replace, but if you are in a small town, it may take a while to get one. replacement of the cable is pretty straightforward (remove knee panel, remove under dash panel, remove knee bolster (metal), unhook from pedal, remove from actuation lever on the transmission). It is a bit tight in the engine bay. if the 'auto adjust mechanism' has stripped, replace it. If it is frayed (you determine this by feel) replace it. If it requires the thigh strength of an Olympic squat champion, get the snorkel tube replaced for an exorbitant amount at the dealer (this is why I sold my '96 SET) Good luck KeithG "Big Daddy" <janenstevennopsamspring.com> wrote in message news:9mbme8$jk6$1nopsam.atl.mindspring.net... > Does anyone know how to adjust or replace the clutch cable on a '97 900S? > Are there any websites with instructions?
