Get it fitted at a workshop next time. Glenn Prat. I've done more than one Saab fuel pump, and most of the difficulties that were encountered by the original poster have happened to me. The large threaded ring is a pain, and I've warned previously of the likelyhood of one of the elbows breaking. Doesn't mean that people should stop working on their own cars - often with far less shoddy results than plenty of "professional" jobs I've seen. This newsgroup exists for people to compare experiences with their Saabs, mechanical or otherwise, and I'm sure others will gain a benefit for learning the pitfalls experienced by this poster, even if you don't. -- Regards, Danny http://www.gaggia-espresso.com (a purely hobby site) http://www.dannyscoffee.com (UK advert for my mobile espresso service) swap Z for above characters in email address to reply
