A mistake, or you have the world's best mileage example of a '96 Saab? I assume you meant 90k? > > > Now for my two questions. I can't argue with the advice of your dealer, but the manual for my car states not to use leaded fuel in cat-equipped cars. Does anyone else know? > > > 3. Bonus question! The main thing I've been told you can do to aid the longevity of the auto transmission is to not labour it at high reves for too long, and to change "manually" between 3rd and 4th to avoid the sometimes frequent auto changes when driving round town. Leaving it in third round town also has the added bonus (on my age vehicle at least) of being described as sports mode. I shift to "drive" when I'm out of town, or over 50mph. Your auto box may differ. > > > cheers! John (new member of the Saab club!) > > -- > Die Jappies Die!
