Subject: 95 900s Air Con and Brake Query

Hi all, I have a 95 900s 2.3 which I love, however there are 2 niggly problems that spoil the car which I hope somebody can shed some light on.The first is related to the Brakes: sometimes on a damp/wet morning the first application of the brake pedal seems to lock up the brakes and a grinding noise occurs ( not the sound of the ABS ) and the car starts to skid, quickly releasing the brakes and re-applying them resumes normal braking and the system works fine after that. It also happened once on a frosty morning. The second problem has to do with the Air Con: when the interior of the windscreen mists up the ONLY way to clear it is to turn on the Air-Con,increasing the blower motor speed or using a hotter temp from the heating systems only accelerates the misting process and I have to use the Aircon. This happens across a range of external temperatures from mild warm to cold. The Air-Con also intermitently makes a lot of wheesing noise that increases and decreases and then settles down, this normally occurs when the car is idle at say traffic lights for along time. As the car is due for it's service (66k) soon I'd like the garage to look at it but I would like to be more accurate when defining my problem to them so they don't add up the labour hrs looking for the faults. Thanks in advance Brendan
