Thanks to all for your answers and help. Finally, I've bought this morning an CSE 2.3 T (200) 1997 and after some kilometers, I do have to admit that this car seems to be (almost) perfect :-)) The sensations are of course completly different compare to my previous car ie an 1991 900 i 16 (130) !!! The 200 HP are very comfortable and if the car is driven more agressevily, the Turbo does always provide instantanely the needed power ! It's really fun ! Since my question on the list, I've been told that the t version (170) does not give goods results with the5 speed and that this model is more comfortable with the 4 speed auto (very rare however in France) as proposed by Mark. After some trials on the 9000 CSE (2 t 150 , 2.3 t 170 , 2.3 T 200), I will recommend either to get the 2 t (150) or 2.3 T (170) with the 4 speed auto or the 2.3 T (200) with the 5 speed. Does any of you have even tried the extreme version ie the Aero ( 225) ? Marc **************************** if you want a 5 speed , get the T 200 if you must have a 4 speed auto, get the t 170 Mark 1995 9000 CSt auto **************************** I have a CS (t) and my wife has the CSE (T), both 1997. The extra 30 HP is noticeable. For creeping and beeping into Boston every morning it doesn't make much difference to me. However, when the wife lets me drive hers, I always get a sh*t eating grin on my face when I step on it. the 2.3t is no slouch, it's just not as fun. ted **************************** The two are the same! If you have an "t" (LPT), then you'll need a box + some additional stuff and you'll get the "T" (FPT). **************************** "Marc Delporte" <marc.delportenopsamdoo.fr> a Ècrit dans le message news: 9pldaj$pqp$1nopsamdoo.fr... > The motor being the same ie 2.3 (9000 CSE) > > does somebody has an opinion (+ & -) between the 2 turbos ? > > t 170 (turbo low power) > T 200 (the original ?) > > Thanks > Marc
