They're not stupid. J.D. Power doesn't release the exact placing of
the individual brands in the below-average rankings because they don't
want to bite the hand that feeds them - they'll never get invited to a
press event or get a call returned ever again. It's a white lie, just
like the ones that stockbrokers tell in the newspaper every day:
What they say What they mean
Very Strong Buy Buy
Strong Buy Hold, Buy if you feel lucky
Buy Hold, sell if the price is right
Hold Sell
Sell Bail Out Now, at any price, before they go Bankrupt.
We don't care if they'll never talk to our stock
analyst again, they won't live to see the sunrise. ;-)

The 10 year 100,000 mile warranty is the only way they'll get some
people to even set foot on a Kia lot. Their reputation proceeds them.
Of course if you do buy their car, there won't be much resale value
when the car hits 100,000 miles because then someone will have to pay
for the repairs, but we won't tell them about that part. ;-)
