No Toad-rollers, but 2 SAAB 900T classics and 2 Jeep Cherokee's. SAAB with 4 studded snow tires is best for mountain driving in the winter for ski trips. Turbo makes car perform well at elevations between 6,000 and 12,000 feet, and FWD allows me to pass all those SUV's. JEEP, OTOH, is a better tow vehicle for dragging snowmobiles around and with 4 snow tires and 4WD, it is less likely to get stuck. Plus I carry recovery equipment for when I do. Also better for dirt roads (SAAB is definitely designed for autobahn driving) and for sure off-road driving, which I do some of. All cars are high mileage (180-216k) and have about the same "rated" Hp/weight ratio, and are about the same weight (2,900-3,100 lbs). But at high elevations, there is no comparison, the SAABs will suck the doors off the JEEPs. Charles.
