It wasn't uncommon to have a dealership selling both marques of car. It's just my opinion, but the newer Saabs (post GM) aren't the same quality cars they used to be. We have a Toyota plant (Nissan too) here in UK, these cars are a mile better than they used to be, I hired one a few years ago, but I didn't like it, the specs were very good, but I didn't like it. I found the driving position awkward, and found I couldn't see out the rear window when the sun shined because of the reflection of the rear parcel shelf. There was nothing wrong with the car, it worked fine, but it didn't have the "Wow" factor My 82 900 turbo has everytime I get into it, and still does even after 6 years.
