I have an 89' saab 900 which will start right up almost every time. but this problem is getting more popular these days. it doesn't matter if the car is hot or cold, mostly happens when cold though: the car will almost start right up on the first crank, and then kinda cut out and not want to start at all. I then have to turn her over a bunch of times, pushing the gas pedal once every time (otherwise, no response)to eventually get it going. Once it finally starts, it blows out lots of smoke, runs shaky for a bit, then the idle goes up to 2-3000 rpm's, and will not kick back down. I've cleaned the air intake valve with carb cleaner, but I'm pretty much lost from there. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
