Oh, its fixable, Rear bumper is a writeoff, the right rear panel is a writeoff, and there is a disturbing squeak from the right rear wheel assembly. The trunk wont open (or rather the lock won't disengage), Tho the police declared it roadworthy "as long as it doesnt pull to any side, the squeak getting worse, or you plain feel unsafe driving it". Anyway, since the trunk is a doesn't seem reliable, and i need it in my work ill claim a rental tomorrow. Problem is that most bodyshops seem to be backlogged until december. But we'll see. Oh, and when i lowered the backseat to get some stuff from the trunk, i noticed that one of the fastening for my infinity bass-link had snapped, no biggie tho. And, yes, the Permashine will have to be redone. All of a sudden i realize something tho, in my old car i found the headrest to be "in the way", so i kept it at the lowest level. In the SAAB i cant even get it down that far, and it isnt "in the way" in the same fashion either.. But, somehow i think i have just learnt what it is there for. As for the car that hit me? Well, front left fender caved into the left tire and slashing it, radiator busted, oil pan busted. Yes, i AM aware that that is how the front end of a car is _supposed_ to collapse, but it still gives some indication of the kinetic energy that a car has, even in relativly low speeds... And still looked kinda scary. His airbag didnt deploy tho, and that seems wierd? (Written in english since you had a bogus email ;) )
