My 2.3 (non turbo) occasionally lights the check engine light for no apparent reason - usually when idle and stationary for a while. No other light/wording comes on with it (eg check oil etc), just check engine. The manual states that this condition indicates a fault in the fuel injection or ignition, and states that the car will default to a limp home mode. When the light comes on driving ability is unaffected, so I don't believe it's in limp home mode. Car doesn't misbehave in any way, so I don't think it's either of the two conditions listed, any ideas? -- Regards, Danny http://www.gaggia-espresso.com (a purely hobby site) http://www.dannyscoffee.com (UK advert for my mobile espresso service) swap Z for above characters in email address to reply
