Never had this problem with either of my two Aeros. However, I have had a much more serious problem with an 88 900S injection model. Started off as a hiccup as you describe but got gradually worse. I don't like to tempt fate but it looks as though replacing the air mass meter in the injection system may have cured it. Does the check engine light come on, even momentarily?
