Subject: Automatic Transmission Problem

Model: SAAB 900S Transmission: Automatic 3 speed Year: 1988 Miles: 186,000 -------------------------------------- I woke up this morning and started my car that just last night ran fine. Let it warm up, it's old you know, and I took off driving. First gear, no problem (automatic). Come time to shift into second, the car drags, as if the emergency brake is on. I drive it back home, in Low1. I recently had my other SAAB (newer- 1989) in the shop for it not shifting right and they said that there was too much pressure and after they backed the pressure down, it was alright. Can anyone tell me if the failure to shift into second could be too low of pressure, or do you think the auto-trans is shot? Any advice you can give would be great. -Kyle themoz(8)wi.rr.com
