I'd agree about there being a few more creature comforts, but certainly did not have the feel of the classic 900 or 9000, and the internal storage space was a joke. Door and dash storage was hopeless. I understand that criticisms regarding handling of GM900 have been addressed on the 9-3, along with other improvements, so maybe that's worth a look before you buy depending on your budget. I've gone back to a 9000 '96 CSE 2.3 LPT with manual box. Had it just 2 years now, over 30k miles added, now has 101K miles on it. Faults to date? One new intermediate box on exhaust, and last week a dipped-beam bulb. If you can't get a good 900, and can't afford a 9-3, why not have a look at a 9000?
