Pulsating brakes: On attempt #1, my dealer replaced the rear rotors, saying they were warped. This made no difference. On the second visit, they replaced the front rotors and this fixed the problem. They did not charge for labor for that visit. Climbing idle: An obviously broken vacuum hose which I completely missed. This also solved a related problem-failure of center dash vent to open. ...But now the brake pedal seems to be engaging at different positions. My dealer says he drove it extensively and did not notice this, but that if the problem does exist, it's probably NOT the master cylinder. (Brake fluid is full) Guess I better prepare to replace the master cylinder. Dave
