I had a 94 NH900SE Turbo, which ran on those Pilot, then I replaced the whole set with the Pirelli P6000's that you mentioned - my lady and I both thought they were noticeably quieter, and that the handling was also sharper with the Pirellis - especially in the wet (even thouhg I hyave since read reviews saying the P6000 aren't supposed to be that good in the wet!) When I sold the car, I had done 24k miles on them, and the service department reckoned on the new driver getting at least another 10-12k out of them - this was on mixed driving - probably about 60% town, 40% motorway.
