Most oils are not used in a critical mode; i.e. we don't "race" our cars. Long engine life is difficult to assess before it's too late. The use of quality engine oils is basically a preventive measure. Therefore, I would like to know if I get what it says I'm paying for. I'll follow this up by writing to the HALFORDS company.
