Did anyone here bother to verify that this website has > complete information for all of the other API cert'ed oils on the market? ========================== I am the one who posted the results of the website search. I went to the American Petroleum Institute's web site to see if they had a list of oils that they certified because I figured that their site would be more unbiased and unelusive than Amsoil's site. To see for yourself, go to the API site http://api-ec.api.org/intro/index_noflash.htm then click on the Energy Consumer link, then scroll down and click on the "In Your Garage" link, then click on the "Motor Oil" link, then click on the "Directory of Licensees" link and go from there. I got all this info from the API, not Amsoil. To be honest, I was not expecting any Amsoil products to be listed there. I am not an Amsoil fan and IMO it is not worth the extra money over conventional oils or more mainstream name brand synthetic oils. I have seen plenty of cars with 300,000 + miles on the original engine that was lubricated with conventional motor oil, just changed every 3,000 miles. Why would anyone pay $6 a quart for oil purchased by an organization with dubious sales tactics when there are less expensvie name brand alternatives that work perfectly well? Ray O
