I recently acquired a 9-3 SE convertible in leasing. Not sure about the engine specs, according to the previous owner the car is NOT equipped with turbo. Is that possible? Car is Oct2000, Belgium market, 150hp. Owner claims that last year there were 3 versions available - 2.0, 2.0t, 2.0T. The first one would not have turbo, he ordered that 2.0 for tax reasons, and planning to add a turbo afterwards. However, the car came with the 9-5 gearbox he says, Saab provided them on the 9-3 for a limited time. This would increase the torque considerably. Sounds rather fuzzy to me. I thought that the 9-3 only comes with turbo. The acceleration makes believe there is turbo power although I am no expert. Is there any way I can verify if there is a turbo or not? Cheers, Stefan
