Karen says... >The last I heard, Saabs really are used by police in Colorado. Yes, someone who has posted here sent me jpegs of it. > >One time many years ago I was stopped in my 86 900 for making a turn only >available to emergency vehicles during certain hours. The cop make some >crack about Saabs not being emergency vehicles and I couldn't resist >telling that actually they are in Colorado. He didn't think that was funny >for some reason but let me go with only a warning. Hehehe..... They may not be emergency vehicles but any cop knows that when they reply to an emergency when a Saab is involved the chances of the person being alive and not seriously hurt are _much_ better. I got stopped for speeding once on a back road in the SPG. I told the officer that my speedo was broken and he asked me to step out of the vehicle and tried it out for himself and saw I was telling the truth. I joked with him the car rides so good I just can't tell how fast I am going. He gave me a warning. The same thing happens in the 9000 too, I look down and realize I'm going 80! ~J~ Remove "Junk" to reply
