The driver's side visor on my 87 9000S started that last year. There are
a few make shift repairs mentioned on the www.saabnet.com bulletin
board, but you will have to replace it. The tensioner spring inside has
just died. I pulled mine off and keep in the pouch on the back of the
seat. If I hit rough spot, I slide back on and leave it in the down
position. It is better that nothing.
