Subject: brake and emergency light questions

First, I must say that I thoroughly enjoy perusing the musings of this group. I have been hanging around it for 2 plus years. Had a 92 900 conv. (black and tan) and traded last summer for a 97 (black on black). Loved the old and love the new, which is much more refinded. Anyway, yesterday saw the first snow of the year here in Omaha (can you believe it?) and the car sat out in freeze much of the day with wet gunk in the wheels and stuck to the wheel wells. While driving home the brake light and the emergency light flashed periodically. The manual suggests that's bad, possibly indicating a problem with brakes or abs. However, after the car sat in the garage for an hour, the problem disappeared when we went out last night. The brakes performed normally throughout, and the abs pulsed several times on the considerable ice which coated the surfaces of most streets last night. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions. I do plan to get the car in and inspected, particularly since it remains on warranty for another month. Happy holidays to all and thanks for any input.
