Last time I used a roof rack (on a previous car), I noticed an
increased noise level inside the car, even with the rack empty.
That experience has put me off estate (wagon) cars with fixed
rails on the roof. Hence the million dollar question I want to
ask: Is the 9-5 estate affected in comparison with the saloon?
Can the rails be removed permanently?
