Well, I own a 97 after a few of the classics and, yes, I would love to own a 1997 classic (yeah, they don't exist). I do prefer the look of the classic, but more importantly, 1) there was more room in the classic 900, and 2) this was especially true right down there around the clutch and accelerator pedal. If you have size 12's or bigger, there is a noticeable difference. That said, what other car built after 1995 would I want to own? Tried a 2000 Impala. Absolutely no problems with it and the big six has great acceleration. Lots of room front and rear. Got all the extras, down to the heated leather seats. Huge trunk, really. And when my son decided he needed a 'new' car, I worked a deal and he's driving the Impala and I'm in a 97 NG 900. So everything is relative... Curtis L. Russell Odenton, MD.
