Subject: '96 900s transmission problems



With only 47k miles on the automatic transmission in my girlfriend's
1996 non-turbo Saab 900s, we have started having some intermittent
problems with the transmission.  The car occassionally stops moving in
reverse, and has even moved forward when clearly in reverse.

Has anyone else experience difficulties of this nature?  Will it
likely involve a complete transmission rebuild?
