Subject: Chip tuning / 9-5 AERO

Hi there! Any one have experience about chip change in Saab 9-5 aero? Our Finnish importer said that if the chip is changed by them, it doesn't even affect to the warranty clauses and it can actually reduce gas consumption in normal use. Is it possible? Of course driving pedal down all the time will reduce the engine's life but will it affect to the car's behavior in normal every day use? How does automatic transmission take the chip-tuned version? Are there different programmed chips? I've understood that it will give an extra 40 bhp, that's quite a cheap hp/price ratio, price in Finland is something like 850 euro. Please advice and tell about your experiences. My car is a 9-5 aero -2000. Thanks, Jaska
