It's most always been a timeless trade of style vs. useable space in car design. The 'new' convertible makes that trade. Check out other convertibles on the market - they all have this issue. It's the same with any 'sports' car. As soon as you make it look good, you start to cut down on functional space. Check out the trunk space in a Ferrari next time you go buy the dealer. Translation: Only buy a convertible knowing how impractical it is up front - and have another car on tap for when you need to move things. Bob
