They seem close to the unchipped 2.3l but with the torque coming in at slightly higher revs. I wonder what the trade offs are between a chipped 2.0 and an unchipped 2.3. Greater engine wear is a first guess, but to produce the same bhp/torque requires the same force, no more or less, to be pushing against the piston so that doesn't seem to hold water. Ideas anyone ? g.
