So recently my Check Gearbox and Check Engine lights have come on, intermittently, always right after backing out of the garage, on a cold morning (30-40 degrees) and right after going from reverse to drive. Sometimes the automatic transmission will put itself into "limp home mode" (seems to be keeping it in second gear) and sometimes not. When not in limp home mode, the car performs totally normally. And usually the check gearbox light is off by the end of the day or the next day. Ideas?
