Don -- As everyone says, the Clarion made to fit is a one-cable install. Power, controls, audio all in one round plug. Wonderful design. You may have trouble finding a Clarion cdc-635 from a "name brand" retailer, as this model has been discontinued. However, there's a new model that replaces it -- the DC625. Looks like it's even a little smaller. www.crutchfield.com has it for USD$170. I installed a 635 in the glove box of my 96 900SET, attached to the top of the glove box. It took hours of time and some reshaping of the glove box plastic to fit it in, but worked GREAT and was very convenient when done. My current 97 900SETC came with one in the trunk that I'd like to replace so I can do the same again. -Micah > From: "Don Nevile" <nevilednopsamision.com> > Organization: Cadvision > Newsgroups: alt.autos.saab > Date: Fri, 18 Jan 2002 23:23:04 -0700 > Subject: 1998 900S CD PLAYER INSTALL > > Friends ... > > I have a 1998 900S with stock radio with cassette, but no CD player(although > the face plate has a "CD" button).
