My crystal ball predicts you will have to spend more but 100k is low mileage and they are nice cars. Cost of ownership for a 88 Saab is probably going to more than a 94 Camry. What parts have been replaced? The trans is biggest weak spot in a Saab and a good rebuild should last for more than 100k. The answer to which car you will be happy with depends what you like in a car. If you can, drive another 900c Turbo and see if you like it. If you put $1500 into it you should be able to sell it for at least that much if you don't like it.
