One mention I haven't seen in this thread related to squeaks is the window rollers. I just bought a 99 SE convertible off lease with 16K miles and this noise drove me crazy everytime I hit a bump. Turned out that it was the window rollers that wear out and needed to be replaced(warranty). As for fast depreciation, I paid $21000. U.S. for the car, the sticker in the glove box has the MSRP at 45K. That's a substantial decrease. I do love this car, squeaks and all.
