This doesn't work on a Saab. The DRLs work just like leaving your headlamp switch always in the ON position. That's why I had my DRLs disabled - when I want them, I turn the headlamp switch to ON and leave it there. Walt's suggestion below used to be the standard way of disabling DRLs on VWs. Tod.
