There are places where you are required to not use them at night; such as telescope observatories that are high up, the extra ambient light bugs them, so you have to drive downhill a certain distance with the lights off.(you follow an expert) Also I may want to sit in my car at night with the engine running for warmth, but not light up the whole street, alerting everyone to my presence. Drive through movies? Military security checkpoints? Impromptu make out sessions with loved ones? And, I'm a control freak. :)
