I disagree. There are plenty of good non-main agents around. A Saab is no more complicated to service/maintain than many other cars, and the availability of parts from places other than Saab means that it is feasible for many to service their own cars, should they have a desire to. In two years my car hasn't been near a main agent, although if it were nearly new/under warranty it would be prudent to use the main dealer. So far I've sourced exhaust, headlight, antennae, fuel pump, timing chain kit, brake and suspension stuff, service items etc (not all for the one car!) from multiple UK sources. Even things that I've been told are main agent parts I've usually been able to get from Euro Parts or German and Swedish.. -- Regards, Danny http://www.gaggia-espresso.com (a purely hobby site) http://www.dannyscoffee.com (UK advert for my mobile espresso service) swap Z for above characters in email address to reply
