Better leave then alone, the whole thing gets too hot for using soldering, so connections that can take the high current will be near impossible to make. The only think I can think of is if you can use ordinary wire coiled up as an outside resistor, but bear in mind that the max current is high ~12 Amp, so a sturdy switch is required. Johannes
