In the UK a demo car is used for 24hr demos. If you book a demo then you can have the car for 24hrs free of charge the local garages run the cars then sell them on. So watch out.......... A friend at work had a cabrio for 24hrs and went to a wedding in it. A Saab has a 6K service then one at 18K that's when most garages get rid of demo's. I have just ordered a New Import Saab Aero 9-3 about 5K cheaper. Its worth looking at Imports. Take care. <aero2lnopsamail.com> wrote in message news:aero2l-1102020449210001nopsam15-137.easynet.co.uk... > I'm about to buy a 2000 9-3 cabrio, buit it's a demo car with 18k miles. > Are demo cars more likely to have been well-maintained - or more likely to > have been trashed around and neglected while on the forecourt. > > Colours wise, i wanted silver with blue hood, but can only get that with > also beige leather.
