I just bought a 95 900S and have to say the car is beautiful. My mechanic sold it to me and gave me a great deal after installing an engine with 60,000mi. on it. I am beginning to notice some abnormal idle performance though. When I start it up there is no problem, the engine purrs, but when I shift it into reverse (auto tranny), it revs up a bit and then drops back down, in a rhythym of about one-cycle-per-second. I'm really new to the world of saabs, but have a solid auto background and usually work on my own cars. Does anyone know what could be causing this problem, or has had it happen to them?? Mike
