Hi my 91 900i gear lever snapped the other day. Yep just snapped in the supermarket car park I pulled the rubber boot off and lo and behold some expert had been in and welded it together at some stage. I went to the wreckers, got one out of a 900/87? canibalised it and rebuilt my old one. Now I'm having trouble with the adjustment. I can select 1234&5 but not reverse. However I can get my key out if I hold the lever where reverse should be...any pointers?? Or could anyone send me a nice diag? Thanks in anticipation
