Subject: Re: Test Drove a 9-5 Aero

Yes, I know quite well the 3rd gear boost in the Aero and Viggen after having test driven both in the past 2 weeks. My big test of a car's acceleration is the freeway onramp test. In the Viggen I also found the 3 to 4 shift was very impressive and the car just seemed to want to pull and pull and pull. That test drove put the Viggen on my short list. Now I believe the ads that Saab used to have, "People who test drive a Saab usually end up buying one" JJ > >My 9-3 Viggen easily accomodates my snowboard bag which is quite large, and >won't fit through most standard pass-through arm-rests. I have no idea >whether the S4 or 330 would do it, but I couldn't afford one of those the >way I'd want it decked out anyway. I got the Viggen with 300 miles for $33K >U.S. with 0% financing. If you figure the amount it cost GM-Saab to eat the >3 years of financing I'm getting a much better deal than even $33K. Try >that with a 330! Oh, and by the way, pedal to the floor in 3rd gear is like >being shot out of a cannon! > >John
