There is safe and then there is SAFE. Why do so many manufacturers put hard plastic covers on the mirrors in the sunvisors? Do you really think those are safe? Putting the key between the seats is more difficult and more expensive than sticking it on the dash. A tilt steering wheel can position the airbag improperly. On the early Saabs with airbags the steering wheel didn't even telescope due to the fear that it would be too close to the driver. While I hate to chastise the "word of the day," most everything done by a manufacturer is "explicable," including the long-in-the-tooth RR grille. Tod Windsor
